Wish the description of this book had pointed that out before I purchased it/5(5). This book reads more like a manual than a narrative description (as you find in Hill's book). It follows a boat build in order, but frequently describes alternative methods of doing certain tasks. Excellent illustrations and photos make it clear.

A little more advanced than the Hill book (Ultralight Boatbuilding)/5(46). This comprehensive DIY book is over 70 years old and therefore brings us back to the times before the plastic revolution in boat building.
